1. Good morning Delightfuls!! Well done on having got here, hope it wasn't too difficult. I want each of you to spend the lesson this morning exploring the editing options of this Wiki and adding the following items to this page. The graphic and the film-clip need to relate to the Nature of Religion and Beliefs:
a visual graphic relating to the Nature of Religion and Beliefs (e.g. photo/picture) I'd suggest you use FLICKR to find a suitable photo/picture or GOOGLE or YAHOO IMAGES
a film-clip relating to the Dreaming (e.g. YouTube)
a short written statement about the picture and film-clip you chose and why.
an evaluation of what you think about using this wiki.
Instructions to Add Items:
1. In order to add anything onto this page, you'll need to click on the EDIT tab in the top right corner of this page first. 2. To add a visual graphic, you'll need to click on the FILE tab, then EXTERNAL tab, then copy and paste the URL of the picture into the provided space. You'll obviously need to find a picture first in order to copy and paste the URL! 3. To add a film-clip you'll need to click on the WIDGET tab, then click VIDEO. As for step 2, you'll need to locate your clip first then click EMBED just under the YouTube screen. A box will open up under the YouTube clip with a highlighted passage which you need to copy and pasted into the appropriate space in your WIDGET. You'll see a pale blue square which says YOUTUBE in the EDIT VIEW of the wiki page, but when you click SAVE and are in the regular view, your clip will be there (I've put an example in below so you can see). You might find that you'll need to do this part from home as in all likelihood YouTube will be blocked at school, try TEACHERTUBE or one of the other options if this is the case as you might be able to still do it at school by choosing one of the other options. Or you could be a rebel like Justin and use a proxy. 4. To write anything, it's just like using Word - just type. You can fiddle around and alter your text colour and font type and size, please ensure you use a colour that we can all see though! 5. Enjoy this activity and don't get stressed if you can't get something to work. I'll go through anything you had trouble with when I next see you all (tomorrow morning p.1 in case you're wondering! We'll be in B1 again too!)
